1. Executive Summary & Core Commitment

At Infinite Byte Studios, we build decentralized, user-centric software architectures. Food Helper operates primarily as an edge-computed, client-side application. We do not require account registration, cloud profiles, backend logging tracking, or data-collection authentication models. Your cooking data remain strictly your own private property.

2. Data Collection Architecture & Scope

2.1 User-Provided Information

Because the application operates without user registration pipelines, Infinite Byte Studios does not collect, harvest, or aggregate personal identity assets such as names, email addresses, phone coordinates, or biometric structures.

2.2 Locally Cached Assets (SharedPreferences)

To deliver optimized interface processing, state selections are stored directly on your physical hardware partition using isolated sandboxed system properties (SharedPreferences). These local variables include:

This operational cache data is completely immutable to external endpoints and never transmits across network layers.

3. Device Hardware Permissions & Infrastructure APIs

Food Helper makes scoped hardware calls to native device operating system components. These calls are legally disclosed under the following technical frameworks:

3.1 Microphone Integration (RECORD_AUDIO)

The application requests local system microphone hardware interface tokens strictly when the end-user initializes the hands-free voice search layout utility. Audio data is streamed on-the-fly directly to the operating system's native on-device Speech Recognizer Engine. Infinite Byte Studios does not record, parse, cache, upload, or monetize any voice recordings or acoustic profiles.

4. Third-Party Frameworks & Advertising Network Providers

To subsidize ongoing engineering updates, this application integrates monetization capabilities via Google AdMob (Google LLC). Third-party SDK integration blocks may automatically gather scoped diagnostic telemetry properties, including:

These data interactions are processed completely externally by Google's secure networks under the guidelines of the Google Privacy Policy. You can completely opt-out or reset your device tracking profiles via your phone's native Google system settings configuration panel.

5. Global Regulatory Compliance Standards

5.1 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance

For individuals residing within the European Economic Area (EEA), Infinite Byte Studios operates as a Data Controller for infrastructure verification, but as no data is collected, your full regulatory rights (Right of Access, Erasure, Correction, and Data Portability) are perfectly preserved natively via local system resets. You can purge 100% of application cached assets instantly by wiping the app storage inside device settings.

5.2 California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Compliance

We do not sell, trade, barter, lease, or distribute user personal information or grocery preference configurations to data brokers, advertising networks, or external programmatic endpoints.

6. Children's Privacy Governance

Our operational applications comply with COPPA guidelines. We do not purposefully target or solicit tracking diagnostics from individuals under the age of 13. If you suspect an analytics leak has accidentally occurred via third-party SDK vectors, notify our administrative desk immediately.

7. Institutional Contact & Governance
